About Greg Raines

Greg Raines has been in and around a farming community since he was born.  He watched and spent many hours with his Dad and Grandfather selling farm equipment for Badger and Krone. 

He lives near Troy, Ohio on his family farm and his 3 boy are the 5th generation on the farm.

Greg went to Troy high school class of 2007 played sports and was active is 4-H and FFA . Greg met his wife Lesli in high school. 

He went to college at Sinclar College in Dayton, Ohio.

Greg is a Volunteer Firemen at Pleasant Hill Fire Department.  

He manages a 30 head cow calf operation and plants 150 acres of crops and harvests around 300 acres of hay and straw for himself and his customers.  

When Greg is not at the Urbana store he is most likely on the farm either doing chores, in the fields making hay, working ground, with the cattle or fixing equipment 

Some of Greg’s enjoyments are learning new farming ideas either in hay crops or cattle and crops and what new things are happening with faming equipment. 

Greg’s hobbies are watching his boys play sports, fishing with them and also likes taking them to cattle shows. He also enjoys working on his cars.
